Games at school?  Yes - esports is here!!

Our school is proud to be part of the Desert Valley Esports Alliance (DVEA), where students compete, build skills, and represent their school.

Esports is a fun, team-based way to grow in communication, leadership, and teamwork — no matter your experience level.

At RCMS Esports Club, we believe success comes through teamwork, cooperation, and supporting one another.

  • DVEA Champs

Raymond Cree Middle School completed an impressive turnaround season in DVEA esports, earning top finishes across multiple titles and capturing the Super Smash Bros. championship after entering finals as the 4th seed, while graduating a strong group of student leaders who helped build one of the league’s rising programs.

  • DVEA Champs

Students from across the DVEA competed in an exciting day of esports competition at the Middle School Finals, showcasing teamwork, skill, and sportsmanship.  We celebrate the champions.

  • Coach of the Year

Congratulations to Mr. Parker Harling of NCMS, recipient of the 2026 DVEA Middle School Coach of the Year award.

Our Competitive Teams

Our game titles are selected for their strong focus on teamwork, strategy, and competitive play while aligning with RCOE and NASEF/CIF scholastic esports standards. DVEA students build skills that connect to organized competitive esports opportunities at the high school and collegiate levels.

Schedule & Standings

The DVEA regular season runs from November through February, with teams competing in head-to-head matches throughout the season. Team results determine their standings in the DVEA rankings and playoff seeding. Top teams advance to a single-elimination playoff bracket leading to the in-person DVEA Finals in April 2026.
